Waiting lists are frustrating! Across Australia, demand for Paediatric Speech Pathologists and O.T's has sky rocketed, and unfortunately kids can wait up to 12 months to be seen for a formal assessment. At Leapfrog we keep a small number of appointments available for 'last minute' appointments, and booked online. These 1 hour sessions are with our most senior team members, who have a wealth of experience. These appointments are not designed to take the place of comprehensive/standardised assessments, however are a chance to:

- meet with an experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist or O.T (depending on your need)
- explore specific developmental issues or concerns about/ with your child
- get advice/ strategies for targeted areas
- get support of a health professional when applying for NDIS funding

These sessions are appropriate for all children on the waiting list to get some more immediate support, or for children to have additional therapy sessions outside of their regular appointment time.

Note: as of November 2023 Speech Pathology Drop in clinics are available in person in Sydney. Telehealth Speech Pathology Drop in sessions are available in Melbourne- please contact the office to arrange this.
