AUTISM ASSESSMENTS

Real understanding, not just a checklist.

Our Autism Assessment Clinic is designed to help you better understand your child- how they communicate, interact, and experience the world around them. The assessment is led by a Speech Therapist, with input from an Occupational Therapist, so we can build a well-rounded picture of your child’s strengths, preferences, and areas where they may need support.

We use the MIGDAS-2 (Monteiro Interview Guidelines for Diagnosing the Autism Spectrum), a strengths-based and neuroaffirming approach that focuses on understanding your child’s unique way of thinking, learning, and engaging with others. We can use this assessment for children aged 3 years and up.

Speech Therapists are qualified professionals who can contribute to the assessment and identification of autism, particularly in understanding communication, social interaction, and functional language skills. At Leapfrog, we use this expertise to provide a comprehensive, clinically informed profile of your child.
