LEAPS TO LEARNING  GROUPS

 

 

Group sessions are a fantastic way to access therapy in a fun and engaging environment. Your child will be matched to a small group suitable for their needs and abilities- please note that an assessment will be required to determine suitability for group attendance, this will be arranged at time of enquiry.

 

We have 3 fantastic groups starting Term 1, 2024 running out of our Hunters Hill clinic in Sydney.

Preschool

Attention all parents of 4-5 year olds! Has your child been identified as needing additional support in their language development? Prepare to help them develop their language skills in fun, creative ways as they join in fun activities with their peers. Our language group is designed to nurture essential skills needed for understanding and using the language they will experience in pre-school and school environments and social interactions. Skills targeted include: 

  • Friendships and making connections 

  • Following directions, listening and auditory memory skills 

  • Answering questions, explaining and making predictions  

  • Asking questions  

  • Conversational skills 

  • Narrative skills 

  • Vocabulary development 

Our language group is a safe, fun environment where your child will have the freedom to explore new activities and build friendships as they develop their language skills. They will be guided in further developing their skills in social interactions, following directions, asking and answering questions and holding conversations while engaging in games and fun activities. Watch them flourish as they develop their language abilities and learn to engage with learning.

Cost: $750 per 10 week term
