Occupational Therapy

Helping children participate in everyday life

Occupational Therapy supports children and young people to build the skills, confidence and independence they need for life at home, at school and in their community.

Occupational Therapy isn’t just about handwriting or fine motor skills

We look at the whole child, and the everyday activities that are meaningful to them. Working together with families, we understand each child’s strengths, interests and support needs before creating practical strategies that build confidence across home, school and the community.

We use evidence-informed, neuroaffirming approaches that recognise there is no single “right” way to learn, play or participate.

Allied Health Assistants support our Occupational Therapy team

Working hand in hand with your child’s OT, our Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) turn therapy goals into regular, fun practice between reviews, with skills like handwriting, fine motor and self care.

It’s a flexible, cost-effective way to keep momentum going on longer-term goals.
